On the positive side, the location is good and the rooms are OKish in terms of value for money for Paris hotels, where you never know what to expect unless you are checking in at a reputable international chain.
On the negative side, the clown that was on duty at the reception when we checked in spoiled the experience for us and left a very bad impression of the management of the hotel. We had booked an executive room that was supposed to have a view of the gardens and Eiffel Tower; we were extremely disappointed by the room and the inexisting views (you could see the top of the tower from our window). Checking the rates on the room we realised that it was a superior room and not what we had paid for.
The checking process took in total about 1 hour until we were finally
settled in the room we had booked and paid for, which had a view of some trees, but not much else. For proper views you must be in the higher floors, otherwise, don't expect much.
Our impression was that the guy in charge was trying to let us take a cheaper room in order to keep the better ones available as we had prepaid our stay. It took a lot of arguing to get the right room and he was generally rude.
