“Very Pleasant”

My initial inquiries via e-mail to the hotel were promptly answered with polite and helpful info. They arranged for limo pickup at the ariport and Moulin Rouge tickets, and all arrangements were flawless. Beautiful hotel, magnificent entrance and lobby. There was a movie being filmed there during our stay -a cops and robbers movie, made for a lot of excitement in the lobby for a couple of days! Their lobby and front entrance have appeared in a number of movies. Very classy room (good size) with huge bathroom. Front desk and concierge were very very polite and helpful at all times. Bar and restaurant superb. Excellent breakfast, but a bit pricey (28 euros). Just step outside the hotel and there are plenty of other places to eat breakfast. Our family of 5 had two adjacent rooms there. My only complaints: in one of our rooms the bathroom didn't have a shower stall, but had a hand-held spray (be sure to ask for a bathroom with a shower); the amenities are Roger-Gallet (not that impressive). Otherwise, a nice experience. Location is absolutely superb- you are on Rue Rivoli by the Joan of Arc statue, where the Louve meets Tuillerie. Overall, our family had a memorable and wonderful time in Paris thanks, in part, to the Regina.

“Could've Been Much Better”

My husband and I stayed at the Regina for a week in the middle of September. We had a standard room on the second floor. We had a big problem from the start. When we checked in we realized that our travel agent hadn't given the hotel all the information they needed to complete our check-in. It was initially the travel agent's fault, but the hotel only compounded the problem. All three people whom we spoke to at the front desk were rude to us and looked at us suspiciously. When we finally made an international phone call to the States to clear things up, they smugly gave us our room card.
Our room was small but nicely lit. The comforter on the bed had old blood stains on it--GROSS! Other than that, it was a decent room, though for 225 euros a night you'd think it would be a little bigger. The concierge did not speak English well enough to really help us find our way to anything but the main sites of Paris.
The only nice thing about the Regina Hotel is its location next to the Louvre. I wouldn't stay there again, though, because there are plenty of other hotels in the area that might be a whole lot better for the money.

This was my first trip back to Paris in 10 years. What a surprise, the French have gotten nice again. This hotel is just wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely care if you have a good time. They arranged a ticket to a hard to get concert at the last minute and took care of everything. The concierge service is excellent. The hotel is spotless. The linens on the beds were wonderful. Our room was not large but had two balconies facing the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. We even had a balcony in our bathroom. When the Tower began blinking at 10pm, it was magic time. Room service is fast and the food is excellent. The cost was not horrible (by Paris standards) I think I got what I paid for.

I'm going back in March and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

“Wonderful stay at Regina Hotel”

My friend and I stayed at the Regina our first night in Paris.
The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful.
We were lucky to have a room facing the Eiffel Tower and the Tuileries and had our lunch from room service the
day we arrived. There was a large dressing area with
plenty of room for a month's worth of luggage, and the
bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. We
returned to the room after dinner and sat on the couch
watching the twinkling lights of the Tower and the
other beautifully lit buildings. This hotel was a treat,
and we would both stay there again and again!!

“Perfect Location”

Regina Hotel

4 of 5 stars
Phoenix, AZ

We stayed at the Regina Hotel for 3 days at the beginning of this month and could not have found a better location for 3 major sights. It was near the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries and Musee d'Orsay. The exterior and the lobby of the hotel have that French decor so you don't feel like you are staying at the same type of hotel that you would in the U.S. The hall leading to the room and the room itself are reminiscent of a boutique hotel. Yet, the rooms were much larger than I had expected for European standards with all the amenities of a larger hotel, except for an iron. Apparently, as we travelled through France and Italy, hotel rooms (some by law) are not allowed to have an iron in the room for fire safety reasons. We never dined at the hotel restaurant since we were gone a lot of the time, so I can't comment on that. Overall, if my main sights were the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries and Musee d'Orsay I would stay here again due to the proximity. If not, I would try to explore other parts of the city to get a variety and perhaps a better hotel rate. Some say the rate we paid of 228 euros/night was high and others say for this time of year and the location it is reasonable. Also, it is very close to the Metro stop at Tuileries and there are some shops and cafes all around the hotel so that is a convenience.
