“unbeatable location, comfortable hotel”

Artus is a very nice, small and friendly hotel right in the heart of St. Germain. the location is just perfect being 15 meters from Boulevard St. Germain, a minute walking distance from two metro stations and very close to a lot of shops, restaurants, markets, bakerys and pretty much anything else.

the room we had was very small but nice in terms of style, decor and cleanliness. for a deluxe room, it was very snug though, the table was so close to the bed the chair was hard to pull out, the closet was a bit hard to use for the same reason. bathroom and the shower were nice, glass door on the toilet was a bit much though. obviously not see-through, but didn't feel very private because you could hear a breath outside. airconditioning was good. a big plus for the windows having blinding curtains because otherwise it would've been very light very early. the windows could've been thicker though, there was slight noice from the small street outside due to a bar being almost straight underneath us. nothing unbearable though.

The concierge was excellent and helped us out with some non-hotel related problems we had, outstanding service. breakfast was nice for a small place like this. we had some problems with the wireless internet connection, the system was a bit odd.

I personally consider Artus a better alternative than the close by Bel Ami which I stayed at last time in Paris, price was higher there and the hotel equal. overall we enjoyed our stay a lot, the accomodation itself would get 3 stars from me but because of the good service I'm going with 4.

“Seamless stay in Paris, but the room was a bit small”

Lovely hotel in a great location at the heart of St Germain. The lift was a little terrifying, the breakfast was basic but easy and the room was small but very pretty and well designed.
Service was really friendly and most of all our whole experience was just really easy and satisfying. HIghly recommended (unless you're claustrophobic).

Fabulous location in the centre of St Germain De Pres just off Boulevard St Germain.Lots of restaurants,bars and famous cafes in area as well as lots of art galleries.Walking distance to Bon Marche a great shopping area as well as the Louvre and Notre Dame.The Artus is very modern inside and though the bedrooms are small they have been very well laid out and have used the space to the max.Loved the rainhead shower and also the very comfortable bed! We absolutely loved staying in this part of Paris and if we ever returned to Paris we would definitely stay here again

Great hotel, fantastic location in the heart of St. Germain and close enough to St. Michel/the Seine etc that you can really walk everywhere if you stay here. Staff were nice etc (didn't really use any concierge services so can't comment on that).

A warning, however--we booked our room through Expedia and probably because we used Thank You Network points we must have been given the worst room in the hotel--ground floor, one tiny window that let out on the alley with trash and random people wandering past; no light, felt like living in a cellar. Bathroom and bedding etc were all nice but I suppose my caution would be to be careful about which room you get.

This hotel is fabulous. It is very sophisticated and contemporary in style. The rooms are small but very modern in design and extremely comfortable. The location is great and it is easy to get to all the major sites and museums by foot, bus, or train. The staff made our visit exceptional. They were friendly, interested in our daily comings and goings, absolutely motivated to make our experience in Paris special. Sanjay and the entire staff became our friends away from home. We will stay there again on our next trip to Paris.
