Had stayed in this hotel as the starting point to see around Loire Valley Châteaux. Breakfast was a good value and quality: Hotel and the rooms much shabbier than the picture. There is no internet connection in the room, nor in the lobby (Wi-fi). The front desk was a usual French service with no smile, not eager to help. Considering the cost, I will make it neutral and recommend to stay.

This hotel is located in direct proximity to the main train station in Tours. If this is your means of travel then the location is very convenient.
The hotel does not have its own carpark, forcing patrons to use the public carpark directly opposite under the bus station. If you have a few bags to take in to the hotel this is a bit inconvenient.
The room we stayed in was old but clean and comfortable. It actually had a single bed room off the main bedroom which was good for us sharing with our child.
The hotel claims to have internet access but the service is so slow and reception is poor so it was a waste of our money.
The breakfast room looked unclean and unappealing so we didn't have the 12 Euro breakfast during our stay.
The staff were pleasant and cooperative.
It wasn't the best hotel but it was comfortable enough for our stay and within walking distance of the old city, shopping and restaurants.

I booked this hotel because it said it had soundproof rooms and I needed to get a good night of sleep before a whole day out in Tours the next day and then a flight home. I never slept at all. I could even hear the people in the next room peeing and their whole conversation which went on until at least 3 a m and that's not all I heard!! The rooms are sparse and uninviting, the staff are brusque and unhelpful. It was awful the next day trying to enjoy the last day of my holiday thanks to this dump of a so called hotel. I have had better stays in cheap B & Bs. Not recommended to anyone./

This hotel was situated right across the Central train station. Once you step out of the station, the hotel is right there. It is one block away from the tour gathering point (Tourist office) and the entrance to the old town.
There was some problem at checking in and we had to change room twice. The room was clean and well spaced, not the most modern though. After all, it was good value for the location.
