hard for me to write a review as I didn't pay for the hotel, but... i stayed for the weekend.. it's a perfect tour base for the ring of kerry, walk to all in killarney, and close to the national park. the hotel itself is really lovely, lots of little lounge areas. nice fresh flowers add a good touch. however, i think if i had shelled out for the place, i would expect more from the rooms. they were worth a bit less than what people pay out. a friend stayed in the suite & was disappointed in it. i had some dirty wine glasses on the table, and they just made the bed, and left them there... gotta wonder why they think that's ok.

breakfast was nice & up to par. i suppose it would be a really nice place to have a wedding, but if you're looking for luxury rooms, you certainly could do better for what they charge.

Nice hotel. Rooms are nice and the bathrooms are updated.

I stayed in the Malton Hotel for a weekend in September. I had a suite, it was nice but not up to a suite standard. The reception of the hotel is beautiful, but when you walk to the bedrooms it begins to look a little tatty. It's in the centre of Killarney which is handy to get to things. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall it's a nice hotel, if a little dated.

We had a fantastic stay.
The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I loved the bar which is a little more modern that the rest. we also had a meal in the Garden Room restaurant and the food was really nice. The steak and the duck were really tender. The waitress was really nice.
The only little thing that spoiled it is the drivers warning up their coaches from 7am. I think they should find another spot for them because it is really annoying when you are trying to sleep and all you hear "Stand back the door is being operated" repeated 50 times!
