Just adding a May review to let all know that Killarney Lodge is definitely a terrific place to stay in Killarney! It's located just a few minutes walk to the heart of this great town! From the minute you arrive, Catherine is full of hospitality and graciously offering information on all the many things to see and do!

We sadly only had one night here, and regret greatly not staying longer. Killarney is a great town (not too big and not too small, just right!) with plenty of fabulous restaurants, pubs and shops and loads upon loads of recreational activities! The Tourist Info center by the large inexpensive car park is unbelievably helpful!

The K. Lodge was spotless with beautiful decor and a most comfortable layout! The breakfast was huge and the staff most polite! They had complimentary usage of a computer with internet access for guests which came in handy for us.

We stopped at 4 different B&B's along Muckross Drive referred to us...not at all to our standards.

There's a reason the Killarney Lodge is #1 in this town, spend the small amount more, book ahead and stay here, you will be so glad you did!!

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Killarney Lodge and the Killarney National Park area!
The rooms we very nice, it was very quiet and peaceful, short walk to the downtown shops and the food was tremendous.
We would love to go back to Ireland very soon and the Killarney Lodge will be a definite stop on our schedule.

I could not agree with the other reviewers, its is everything they said and more. If you are looking to stay in this area, do not look any further. The standards are very high, like staying in a 5* but you have the very personal attention of Catherine and her staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It is so close to the town center, but so quiet and seconds from the National Park. It was a real find and will visit again as soon as we can.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Ireland. We stayed 2 nights in Killarney at Killarney Lodge and loved it! Catherine Treacy was a gracious hostess who made us feel very welcome and happily helped us with all questions on area attractions and directions. The hotel is in a very convenient location-a very short walk to the main street but slightly off so that traffic noise is not a problem. The breakfast was delicous and served in a quaint dining room. This room was large, very comfortable, and clean. We would definitely stay at Killarney Lodge again!
