A must for everyone golf enthuasist or not . The place is full of smiles and very warm welcomes and this is for all young to old, small to tall John & Freda have time for everyone like they find octupus arms to cater for everyone.
Nothing is a problem and time is never a problem yet everyone's stay is as individual as you are
Yet to add more to the trip the Staff, food and atmosphere in John's restaurant is next to none and a luvely place to sit and enjoy the golf and surrounding scenery from the height at the top even if the small white ball and greens aint for you .
A real all rounder . Keep up the great work guys.

My wife and I stayed at the 19th Green for 3 nights in July and had a thoroughly wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for a base for exploring the area and only about 5 minutes drive into town.

For a second successive year the WAGS party of 16 golfers stayed at The 19th Green and enjoyed excellent hositality from John and Freda. If you wish to play golf in the Killarney area this is THE place to stay for convenience, comfort and craic - and good value for money. Where else would the owner light a peat fire for you, when you come back late from the pub!

We stayed at the 19th Green for 2 nights, 6/30 and 7/1. We had a family room, which was actually two rooms - one with a double bed and one with 2 twins (perfect for my husband and I and our two children). We also had a single room for our father-in-law, which ended up actually having a double bed and a twin. The inn is lovely, clean and very comfortable. It is decorated beautifully. (Love the toilet seat in the bathroom on the second floor at the top of the stairs!!) Yes, the showers are small, but pressure was perfect and I considered ourselves lucky to have showers! Freda and John are the perfect hosts! Very present, but never intrusive. Their lounge is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink after touring or golfing. John even brought in sodas and potato chips for the kids. They use an honor system with the bar. Freda gave us some honest advice about Ring of Kerry tours in bad weather, but the day we decided to go turned out wonderful and Freda booked our tour for us. Their breakfasts were great, cooked fresh and hot. All in all, Freda and John made our stay in Killarney very enjoyable and we will stay again if we are ever back in Killarney. We definitely recommend the 19th Green!
