Stayed here for two nights. staff were wonderful and the rooms were beautiful. had dinner on one night, very nice and the breakfast was lovely too.
We loved the older rooms, really gave the hotel a cosy warm feel.
Perfect location too.
car park next door but its a pay one.
Hot tip, to save getting out of bed to pay for the parking just do it the night before for a few hours.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Arbutus on a side trip to Killarney from Dublin. The hotel was in a great location, the room was clean and large, and the low winter rate included a delicious full Irish breakfast. The best part of my stay was the dining room and reception staff who were so friendly and helpful. They even held my bags when I checked out so I could take a hike in the National Park before catching my train. It was a great 3-star hotel and would stay at The Arbutus again.

We had four people in a room and we were in no way lacking space. Breakfast was the absolute best (hands down) I have ever had in a European hotel-- highly recommend the french toast. The first night we stayed there we used decaf coffee and all the creamer. The next day after room service had been there in our room we noticed double the creamer had been replaced, and twice as many decaf packets as the previous day. They really pay attention to detail and it shows. I would love to stay there again. It was so relaxing with a fire going each night.

we used the hotel as a base for a sightseeing trip around the beautiful ring of kerry. the hotel was ideally situated in the centre of the town.
it is spotlessly clean, and our room was lovely.
the receptionist on arrival was friendly and helpfull,and we were amazed at how quiet our room was even though the town was busy.
the restaurant was intimate and comfortable, and the waitresses could not have been nicer to us. there were families there with young children, who they treated very well,which was good to see.
all in all, a lovely experience, which we will repeat as soon as we can.
