“Great beer, disappointing tour”

Parking was a little confusing yet we managed to get in okay. The tour & brewery itself was disappointing. The tour is self guided and the stations were all computer generated and flashy. We did not see any part of the actual brewery; it was all video & pictures. The only thing we enjoyed was the free beer at the top of the top in the Gravity Bar. There was a 360-degree view of Dublin which would have been more of an experience if it were not so packed. You could barely move around. We finished our beer and left. Really not sure it was the worth the money. We probably still would have done it just to say that we did.

Guinness is my husbands favorite beer so we were super excited to get to go see how it was made. The storehouse is a beautiful building but all you really get to do is walk around and read signs. You don't actually see anything being done. Maybe we had our hopes up and were expecting to much. You do get a free beer and the view from the bar on the top floor is amazing but overall I would say that my hubby was pretty disappointed.

“Don't bother”

If you must go to this overrated Dublin attraction, then book in advance via the web site in order to avoid the queues. If you just turn up then do note that after you have queued in the street (for however long) you will also have to queue inside for up to forty minutes. There were thousands of people waiting when I went and only three people on the ticket turnstiles - which was so frutstrating. This place is a museum, not a factory and it is really quite dull. The tasting gallery is closed, as are several other of the possibly more interesting things to see - although they can't be that gripping. 14 euros for what amounts to a pint of guinness at the end of a walk via a few tv screens is a total rip off. It's also a myth that Guinness tastes better in Ireland. It tasted exactly the same as it does in my local pub!

Not worth the cost, get a decent Pint in any Dublin Pub, and the Smithfield viewing Tower is better for seeing Dublin!!

“Good tour, great beer!”

The self- guided tour was great; reading all the various ads and how they came to be was vastly interesting; the beer was awesome; we spent way too much money at the gift shop.

Probably one of the better museums in Dublin. We spent well over three hours just on the tour and had to rush through drinking our pint to get to the gift shop before it closed.

Not for kiddies, but older teens and adults will get a kick out of it.
