If you must go to this overrated Dublin attraction, then book in advance via the web site in order to avoid the queues. If you just turn up then do note that after you have queued in the street (for however long) you will also have to queue inside for up to forty minutes. There were thousands of people waiting when I went and only three people on the ticket turnstiles - which was so frutstrating. This place is a museum, not a factory and it is really quite dull. The tasting gallery is closed, as are several other of the possibly more interesting things to see - although they can't be that gripping. 14 euros for what amounts to a pint of guinness at the end of a walk via a few tv screens is a total rip off. It's also a myth that Guinness tastes better in Ireland. It tasted exactly the same as it does in my local pub!
