Myself and a group of friends took the 'Walkabout Auld Ayr ' tour guided by Donald Kay. We had a great afternoon and learned all sorts of interesting information about Ayr`s history. I would commend this tour to anyone who has a couple of hours to spare as it is well worth doing.

With a few hours to spare in Ayr I found that I could do a very pleasant walking tour around the town and pick upsome history and perspective on the place. A relaxed and enjoyable way to become aware of so much in the extremely engageing company of Donald Kay. Well worth doing

I run a guest house in Ayr and wanted to try out Donald Kay's Walkabout Auld Ayr Town tour -not only to educate myself on the history of the town but also to see if this tour would be of interest to my guests.
The tour was great - and the two hours seemed to fly past.
I was well impressed by Donald's wealth of information from Robert the Bruce, William Wallace, Mary Queen of Scots to Oliver Cromwell. We also walked up St John's tower and enjoyed the spectacular view across Ayr and over to Arran. The tour would be enjoyed by all ages and should not be missed. Donald also does Burns tours in the guise of Rabbie himself.
