“Absolutely fantastic place to stay!”

Craigatin House & Courtyard

The two of us stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful accommodation during mid September. Having found the website informative and attractive (it really is as nice as it looks!!) we booked at very reasonable cost.
We had a very kind welcome, and the room was perfect - clean, modern, spacious and warm! The breakfast menu was varied and delicious! We really couldn't fault the service. The owners were always happy to give us recommendations of restaurents and places to visit during our stay. (Our favourite restaurent was the Fern Cottage, although a little pricey ... but don't go to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre to eat - overpriced, basic, mass produced food - it was horrible!!). We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly! We had a very enjoyable stay and would love to return sometime!

“Amazing place”

Its an amazing place to stay. Lovely accomodation especially as you can book a specific room. The room itself was amazing, see photos, a world away from typical chinzy and tired B&B's. The bed was so comfy (even more so than our big new bed at home!)

Its more like a boutique hotel than a B&B.The owners were really helpful too telling us about a walk around Pitlochry, good places to eat which didn't disappoint, and what to see in the area.

Breakfast is lovely too. I didn't think that bacon went with pancakes and maple syrup but how wrong could I have been. Great service aand lovely staff.

We would definatley go back if we visit the area again, I would highly recommend it.

“A Special place to stay”

Craigatin House & Courtyard

John & Pauline - Motherwell

If you're looking for a great place to stay in a lovely highland town look no further than Craigatin. This was our second stay in this accomodation, for 4 nights in one of the deluxe rooms which are spacious and very comfortable with fantastic views of the hills. The couple that run the place are very helpful and work hard to ensure your stay is a pleasant as it can be. The breakfast is plentiful and tastes great. The porridge with Cream, Brown Sugar & Whiskey is must to start the day before your breathtaking walks.

All in, a fantastic experience and one I would recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all in this great highland retreat.

We certainly intend to make an annual trip to this town staying at Craigatin House & Courtyard.

“An all round fantastic place to stay”

Craigatin House & Courtyard

Sep 25, 2008

Stayed at Craigatin house after reading so many fantastic reviews about their accomodation and breakfast. We were not disappointed!
Was staying there with my friend in the twin room which had massive single beds. So well decorated- very relaxing and modern.
Very warm welcome and they are extremely helpful.
Breakfast was fab- whisky porridge and apple pancakes were as good as everyone said!
Great value for money. We can't wait to return, just wish we could have stayed there for longer!!

“London Steve”

Craigatin House & Courtyard

As a seasoned traveller throughout the world it is very rare these days that my expectations of accommodation and service are ever exceeded.

I feel compelled to highlight that I have just been treated to such a rare occurrence care of my recent stay at Craigatin House B&B in Pitlochry. This is no ordinary B&B, it is an extraordinary one, in fact it radically and positively alters the stereotypical image one has of a B&B.

Craigatin House provides wonderful accommodation care of the very comfortable rooms that make up the stunning 200 year old building which is set against a backdrop of the beautiful and picturesque scenery of the Scottish Highlands.

I was again pleasantly surprised to learn that Pitlochry itself provides a huge range of activities from which to choose from, whilst also providing a huge number of quality restaurants within minutes walking distance from Craigatin House.

I challenge anyone not to have a wonderful, enjoyable and very pleasantly surprising stay at Craigatin House in Pitlochry.

Well done to the new owners Martin & Andrea.
