My husband has stayed at the Dunvegan before with friends while on golfing trips to Scotland, but this time, he, my son and I stayed here while on vacation. You cannot beat the Dunvegan for location, food and atmosphere. The owners, Jack and Sheena, are salt of the earth people and will do anything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you're a golfer, it's a stone's throw from the Old Course. We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite -- it's big, clean and comfortable with a living room and kitchen. The food is great, especially the "Full Monty" at breakfast! The bar just had a face-lift and looks like new. We highly recommend the Dunvegan to golfers and non-golfers alike -- you surely won't be disappointed.

Being from Houston, Jack & Sheena made my stay great. Good drink, great food, and comfortable bed - the atmosphere was great and it is so close to the OLD COURSE that you can sleep in and still make your tee time. A must stay

We stayed a group on 8 eights from Denamark, at Dunvegan in the end of april 2005. What at supreme atmotsphere Sheena and Jack have made in that bar, filled with pictures of golf legends, former and those who battles now, many of them have stayed for a meal or a night at Sheena and Jack, and we know why, they all write a greeting to Sheena and Jack, they deserve it. Excellent food and service, and rooms which covers your needs for sleep, 2 double beds in each room.

We will come back soon to enjoy the great great atmotsphere.

We have just returned from a most enjoyable stay at the Dunvagan, St Andrews. The owners, Jack & Sheena could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was excellent (both bar meals and restaurant) as was the service.The rooms are en-suite, have TV, tea/coffee making facilities and are well-appointed.Obviously due to St Andrews being "The Home of Golf", the hotel is very popular with golfers and there are numerous photographs and endorsements from famous players, past and present. There is a 9 iron on the wall which was used by a customer to hit a golf ball, from the road outside the hotel, onto the 18th hole on the "Old Course".If you are in Fife, it is well worth a visit.
