We had stayed at the Tudor Inn on a few occasions previously, so it came as a bit of a surprise on our last stay to see how much it had "slipped". There were 4 of us in our party, in 2 adjoining rooms. Both rooms were comfortable enough, and had TV, coffee/tea making facilities and en-suite facilities. They could however both have done with a lick of paint and our friend's bathroom definitely needed an overhaul. When they checked in, there was a strange "damp" smell in the bathroom which never really went away. Breakfast was included in our room rate, but wasn't as good as on our previous visits. The bar food was good and reasonably priced. For those who have difficulty with stairs, this is a 3 storey building with no lift and no ground floor rooms. Unless things improve, we won't be back in a hurry.
