“Lovely place”

Arden Way Guesthouse

Jan 28, 2008

This is a lovely place and really handy for town. Bit of a scary walk over the bridge, but its only 5-10 mins!!
Room was at back so nice and quiet, i would imagine the front may be a bit noisy as its a busy road. Could have been a bit bigger, but hey ho, its only a base isnt it?!
The owner was very nice and helped us a lot when my partner fell ill.
Im a veggie, so just had basic brekkie, but partner loved his!! Thanks again and would definately return
xx

“A Lovely B&B”

Arden Way Guesthouse

This is a wonderful little B&B with comfortable, if small rooms, and a very good breakfast. Jeanne is a superb hostess and couldn't be more helpful. We had room #4 with a double and a twin which was comfy but didn't have much room for luggage or walking around.

It's a 15-20 minute walk to the Courtyard Theater where we saw our RSC plays while the Swan is being re-built. I think the Arden Way website advertises a 5 minute walk to town, but unless you're much more fit than me, I'd estimate 10-15 min to get beyond the park to the town proper.

A very nice place to stay with a very nice proprietress. i'd definitely stay again.

“Don't look any further!”

Arden Way Guesthouse

5 of 5 stars
Stockholm, Sweden

Arden Way is a lovely guesthouse with excellent location, only 7-8 minutes walk from Stratford Town Centre. Our double room was immaculately clean, there was plenty of hot water and the beds were very comfortable. Our room overlooked the garden and was very quiet. Flat screen TV and a kettle were also provided. There is a free private car putside the house which means no parking problems.

Jeanne and her husband were most friendly and gave tips and advice on where to dine and what to see. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order, after this meal you'll be ready for a day of exploring the beautiful town. In all a perfect place to stay!

Very friendly and helpful owner. Excellent location just minutes walk into town; guest house has a free car park which is an added bonus. The "English breakfast" is plentiful, and really sets one up for the day. Very clean, non smoking establishment, nothing seemed too much trouble for the owner. Highly recommended.
"Edward Moon" in town has a wonderful set lunchtime menu, terrific food, BUT don't order a jug of tap water, at £4.95 !! (I almost fell of my chair when the bill came), that apart, the meal is superb.

“friendly and comfortable”

We spent an enjoyable couple of days here over the Easter break. Jeanne was most helpful and friendly and made some useful suggestions for getting into and around town. The rooms themselves were comfortable and well-equipped and the breakfasts were excellent. Arden Way Guesthouse is situated very conveniently for the town centre and the theatres. I would certainly not hesitate to stay there again!
