We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very nicely decorated and were very comfortable. The house was full of beautiful antiques, the breakfast room was lovely and the breakfasts themselves were top quality! We enjoyed a very friendly service. HIghly reccomended!

The secret of this lovely B and B is that the owners really care about their house and their customers. The rooms are beautifully decorated and charming . The beds are a good size and extremly comfortable.
The dinning room is stunning and the breakfast menu more like a 5 star hotel.
On top of this there is always a very warm welcome from these relativly new owners.
As a frequent visitor to Strattford (to enjoy Shakespeare) it took me years to find a B and B like this and I am sure "The Bard" himself would agree.

Not only was the residence clean and gleaming with love, but Martin and Ellen are two fantastic people!

Martin's humour at 9am for Breakfast made the stay even more enjoyable, whilst Ellen's motherly instincts only made us want to stay more!

All in all - the Adelphi is a cute guesthouse, located perfectly for the local sightseeing attractions, whilst at the same time providing great comfort for those just wanting to get away from the cities hustle and bustle.

The rooms were archaic and had a traditional feel, making the stay even more enticing.

We could not recommend this place highly enough, and when returning to the UK we will definitely making it a serious point to visit again!
