Stayed here several times now, loved how close it was to town and the fact that parking was there!felt like your own apartment!
Bargain prices aswell, it was ice to cook pizza and whack a dvd on the next day after a hard noght out!Beds were very comfy aswell and the shower was big enough for two...sort of!
Def stay here again!

I was part of a hen party of 10 staying just one night at the Days Apartments in Nottingham. We had 2 rooms sleeping 4 and one for 2.

The Apartments are in a newly renovated building called the Ice House. It's relatively easy to find once you negotiate your way around the one way system. There's convenient underground parking for the apartments.
(Tip: If staying in a large group, make sure you are allocated enough parking spaces).

Reception area is on the small side but adequate (if you're not arriving at a busy time).

The apartments themselves are excellent. The living area (particualrly in the apartments for four) is spacious and seating very comfortable. They're well equipped with TV/DVD and CD player. Excellent for a large group to congregate!
The large floor to celing windows make it feel very spacious.
(Tip: make sure you have a key to open the sliding door in the lounge onto the balcony).

Bedrooms slightly on the small side but very comfortable beds, clean and stylishly decorated. Only fault here - not enough mirrors for girls getting ready for a night out on the town! In the 2-bedroom apartments, the larger bedroom with en-suite was more generously sized but still not spacious!

Bathrooms good - nice powerful showers. Make sure your extractor fan is working!

The cooking area was very good. Well lit and well laid out. Slight criticism that there wasn't enough crockery for four people; we were in a large party and pooled resources, but we had to supplement with paper plates and plastic glasses from the supermarket!

For supplies, there is a Tesco Metro approx 10 minutes walk from the apartments. Nottingham city centre is within walking distance (or about £4 in a taxi for girls with silly shoes on!). We dined at a fantastic restaurant called Saltwater, in the Cornerhouse entertainment complex (also here, other restaurants and a cinema).

The apartments and building generally were very clean and well presented and represent excellent value for money, and catered well for our large group.

First time I tried the Days Inn Serviced Apartments it made a good change from the norm. Has a full apartment with two bedrooms each containing a double bed (although they do offer one bedroom apartments as well). Kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and decent bathroom (although two would be better!).

Apartment was modern but showing signs of use e.g. metal blinds rather than curtains that were bent out of shape. Plus it was quite hot so opening the window/door over balcony seemed logical - however hotel is on VERY busy road so it wasn't practical at night as the road had a constant stream of traffic. Try getting apartment at back of hotel as should be quieter?

Location great - just a few mins walk from the centre. Has a deal with a restaurant opposite for food if you want something to eat - but so close to centre it’s not an issue. Small shop close by selling food/drink etc. Reception is a bit odd as it’s in one of the apartments but this is probably as I think the block was intended as apartments rather than a hotel concept when built!

If you are booking within a few weeks of the date (or the day!) try Laterooms as they often undercut the hotels rate last minute. Have been back once since as it was such a good idea !

This place was well worth the visit, and am planning another trip with friends very soon. I stayed on the Friday, and went out on the town, which was a 2 minute walk. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite, which was furnished with absolutely everything you need. The condition of the place as impeccable, and the view from the balcony over the city was mint. It was spacious, and is well worth the money. Claire on the reception was also very helpful with directions, and informative about the room.
