the maid of the mist was a nice boat because it would go close to the waterfalls and you wpuld get splashed. another reason i like it is because it was in a great place like by all kind of spectacular sites 4 example the wax museum, ripleys museum, and the guiness book of world record museum.

Definitely a must stop. First, go to the IMAX presentation on Niagara which gives you some background on the Maid of the Mist. Obviously big crowds. If you are not in the first two rows waiting to board (on the Canadian side) I would hold back till the next boat since you really want to be on the railing on the top level. Get on the left railing so you will have a good view of the American Falls as you go up river.

Wow, you really need to do this if you go to Niagara Falls to appreciate the POWER of these falls. they give you a rain coat, but it didn't do me any good at all! you get on a boat and they take you by the american falls and then right UP TO THE HORSESHOE falls. I was hoping to take pictures of the horseshoe, but I couldn't see anything from the "mist" or monsoon. loved it.

A trip to Niagara Falls is not complete without going on the Maid of the Mist. Expect to get wet (nevermind the blue ponchos ... lol) on this up close view of the Falls. Truly an experience for all ages. Don't forget a water- resistant camera!
