Stayed there for 3 nights while traveling in NL for our honeymoon. Awesome establishment and great location. Quiet little place with easy access to the Trans-Canada Hwy. about 50mins drive to the heart of Gros Morne National Park; 20min drive to Deer Lake airport.
Paid $115 + tax per night, including continental breakfast for two. Room was a little small but it was very clean and comfortable. Loved the dinning room decor - very tastefully done. There is a sitting area and also a patio for the guests to use - great view during sunset. Free internet + Wi-Fi.
The Mansion is linked to Humber Valley Resort nearby and we've access to their facility (plus the free shuttle service). My husband golfed one moring and I also visited the resort spa. Golf course was okay for the price we paid. the Found Spa was nice and I'd a very relaxing time there (great view, nice chalet, friendly and experienced staff).
We also ate the the Slurry's Pub at Humber Valley - great price, appox $40 for dinner for two including alcohol and the food was awesome (considering it was a decent resort we thought it'd cost more). We liked it so much that we actually went back again.
Only downside, room does not have A/C (only a fan)...but since it is located in a valley, there is a natural breeze coming through at night. But if you don't like fresh air / have any allergies to grass/ plants you might want to avoid this place.
