For $90 a night in Red Deer, stay somewhere else. The carpets in the rooms are disgusting - dirty, dirty dirty - you have to keep your shoes on because you know that the oilfield workers and others before you tracked in some nasty dirt. In our first room, the toilet did not flush, there was a hair on the pillow, and the smell of chlorine from the pool was just unacceptable. We transferred to another room (and not another hotel because our accomodations were booked by someone else, and we could not leave without personal recourse) - the next room was equally dirty (stains on the wall, on underside of the bed spread), and the sink was dirty. The pillows are uncomfortable. There is a mini fridge and tv. Communal internet in the dining room. We were surprised to hear that they were completely sold out. The continental breakfast was pretty good though - lots of cold cereals, bagels and toast. Having seen the Black Knight Inn, Capri and Red Deer Lodge in Red Deer- those are better values at this price point. Don't let the newly painted exterior fool you - the interiors are dated, dirty and needs renovation for what they are charging!
