“Wonderful stay”

Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort

We stayed here on Hilton points and it was well worth it. The resort is fabulous. The grounds are perfect and the pool is great. Downsides: the large number of children splashing in the pool with no adult supervision and the large number of teens ordering alcoholic drinks which causes the bartenders to then just make all drinks with no alcohol. I highly recommend going down to the beach to sit and the drinks are much better.

Positives: The hotel bar, La Vista, was wonderful. They have happy hour everyday from 7-8 and common drinks are about half the price. The view is unbelievable and the service great. The rooms are exquisite. All the details are just right.

Everything is very pricey on the resort but you can go into San Jose for 20 pesos and have a great dinner. I highly recommend Tropicana on Saturday night. They had a great Cuban band playing and the food is outstanding. Local Eight is also very good and better if you are looking for a more intimate, quiet dinner.

Overall this was a great stay and I would go back in a heart beat!!!!

You have chosen the right hotel if you want to be pampered, impressed, well-fed, and in awe! My husband and I attended a conference for his work here in April for 3 nights. I have been to many hotels (mostly all-inclusive) and this is the 2nd most beautiful I've ever seen (next to Atlantis). The staff is constantly wanting to attend to you to make sure your stay is perfect. I had a facial and massage in their Spa Oasis and the massage may have been the best ever...facial was also good. Their facilities made me want to come early and stay late because there was an awesome steam room and hot tub. There was a lovely rooftop patio where you could relax before/after your treatment. The grounds were immaculate and the pool areas were kept clean and well-maintained. The rooms were tended to and we had turn-down service every night. I highly recommend this hotel for adults, although there were a few kids there and I hear there is a kids' club but I cannot comment on it. Every room's view was of the ocean and the hotel is conveniently located for golfers. $25 ride into Cabo San Lucas to shop but the best bet was to take the free hotel shuttle if you could go on their schedule. yes, it is expensive for food but you are at a very high class resort. I can see why this hotel is rated so highly.

“Ultimate Relaxation”

Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It is exactly what you would think of a Hilton; grand, clean, well staffed and expensive. We used Hilton points but still walked away with a $200 bill for lunch, drinks, tips, etc. The ultimate is sitting on a stool in the pool drinking a pinnapple mojito. Yummmm! If your aim is sun, relaxation and more sun this is the place.

“A Perfect Experience”

Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort

I stayed here with my significant other for 5 days the week before Easter. We had an amazing time. A few highlights:

1. We used transcabo from the airport, it was $56 round trip. They were waiting for us right outside the airport and picked us up from the hotel right on time.

2. We arrived at the hotel and were treated to margaritas, sitting on the balcony over looking the ocean during check in. Smooth and painless.

3. We had a room with a "partial" oceanview. It was beautiful, great bathroom and awesome bathroom products. My only minor complaint was the Melina hotel next door- they were playing quite loud music a couple nights we were there but it wasn't so horrible to ruin our experience.

4. The pool and beach were great, very relaxing. We spent most of our time on the beach near the beach cabanas. We ordered drinks from the waiters without having to move from our lounge chairs (great mojitos!) Many people reserved chairs early in the morning but it never felt packed with people.

5. We ate at the El Meson restaurant a couple of times and the grill once. The food was great, of course it's going to be pricey, you're at a resort! When I asked for water, I expected tap but was served a $9 bottle of Fiji. So if you just want the free tap water, make sure you clarify.

6. We took the shuttle into San Jose del Cabo one day. It is a SMALL town and won't take a whole day to see. The shuttle was very useful though.

Overall, it was an amazing trip. I would go back in a heartbeat!

“One Of The Best!”

Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort

5 of 5 stars
Chicago, IL

We had never been to mexico before, and we wanted to make our first time an unforgetable one, and let me tell you.... thats exactly what we got!

Check In: The bell boys escort you out of your car, get your luggage for you, sit you on the cabana, and give you each a round of margaritas! We ran into one problem, we had booked 2 rooms, one king and one queen..... however, they gave us both kings..... it was no problem at all, they fixed it right away..... The bell boy then brings all your luggage to your room for your, and even fills your cooler with ice, no problem! They always were willing to please

The room: IT was VERY roomy- the views were outstanding.... escpeically with all of the gorgeous landscaping.... The beds are outstanding, and you literally just melt right into them! The bathroom is just a dream.... all marble- they were just fabulous.. the maid service leaves you a cute little towel animal every other day, just like they do on a cruise!

Restaurants: The first night we ate at the deli, as we were exhausted from traveling all day.... The sandwiches are GREAT, and large enough for 2 to split- (very reasonable in price as well) I wouldn't recommend eating at the sushi restaurant if you are not going to order from the sushi menu.... they let you pick from both menus, however, if you don't order from the sushi menu, they bring your food from another kitchen and it takes FOREVER---- El Modero (the steak restaurant) was FABULOUS......... we had them cook some fish that we had caught that day, and it was absolutely beautifully prepared- we also ordered ribs, and a steak- and both were just outstanding-- Breakfast at El Meson is definately WAY overpriced.... however, if you are a hilton honnors member, they give you 2 coupons per day- If you have kids i would not recommened paying 21-29 dollars a head if you child is just going to eat a piece of toast or cereal.... i would have to say that the breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding though....

Service: OUTSTANDING everywhere :), everybody was so willing to please- they put your napkin on your lap for you- everybody was just so helpful, and always willing to please no matter how much effort it would take for them to make you happy!

Transportation: From the airport we took TransCabo! Excellent service... i would definately recommend paying the extra i think it was 30$ to stop at the grocery store...... We filled up on booze and snacks and it was definately a great idea! When in the airport in Cabo, DO NOT STOP until you get outside... if you book with transcabo they will be in an orange shirt OUTSIDE with a sign with your name on it! Timeshare sellers inside will try to get you to think that they are your transportation, however, they will suck you into their schpeal about timeshares!
- the hilton offers a shuttle service for 15$ a person all day to both towns..... personally i think that it was a little rediculous and that it should be free, but you expect to pay at a nice resort like this

Restaurants in town: We ate at Ammorone--- italian food in the marina... it was absolutely excellent......... Right next door is a mexican restaurant called Garcia's! it was excellent, defiantely get a bowl of tortilla soup, THE BEST EVER! we also ate at Mi Casa, authentic mexican, OUTSTANDING- i dont remember exactly what the dish was called... but it was in a white cream sauce and it was just fabulous!

Fishing: We chartered with Cabo Magic for two days, and boy were they outstanding! They can be found at cabomagic.com !
The first day we hit a large school of tuna- and the second day we caught 3, 150+ LB marlin! it was so much fun!

Overall Cabo and the hilton were just outstanding! So eager to please, it was just fabulous
