I just come back from 2 week-dive in Playa del Carmen and I must tell you that I really enjoyed Diversity Diving.
I wanted a reliable dive center in Playa and before getting there I followed trip advisor comments and I am really glad I did!
If you are looking for a professional and competent staff, serious and efficient booking online procedures, comfortable car and boat transportations and reliable diving equipment , then Diversity is definetly your place.
Angela and Carlos were very attentive trying to meet everyone needs in a really professional and friendly atmosphere.
In addition, the two dive instructors James from GB and Luis from Argentina were highly professional.
In addition to that, if you plan diving there you can stay at a good value hotel Fiesta Banana located only a few meters walking distance from Diversity Diving center.

We just got back from a week in Playa Del Carmen and were fortunate to have come across Diversity Diving during our stay. Carlos and Angela were very accomodating. They give attention to the details while maximizing the enjoyment for everyone in the group. The staff is top notch and are from around the globe and speak any language you prefer. They give the history of the location for each dive as well the nuances of each dive. In the end you are thoroughly satisfied with the dive. Not only are they a great dive shop they also provided local tips on restaurants, sights, etc. It is true you leave as a friend as my wife and I ended our trip with Carlos and Angela providing transportation for us back to the airport after our transportation did not materlize.

We are experienced divers and serious when it comes to our diving. We vacation several times a year and when we travel for vacation/relaxation it's usually to go diving. This was our first trip to the mainland (have dove Cozumel many times) and it was primarily to cavern/cave dive. We have cavern diving experience in the Bahamas, Australia and Florida but those places cannot compare to Mexico. The Yucatan is the mecca of cavern/cave diving.

Our Diversity Divers package included two days of cenote diving (Dos Ojos and Chakamul) and it was fantastic! The cavern excursions exceeded our expectations in every way. The water was crystal clear, the rock/stalagtite formations were spectacular and our guide was very knowledgeable. He gave us some very good tips on buoyancy control in a closed, cave/cavern environment. Our drift dives in the channel between Cozumel and the mainland were also great (saw lots of large turtles at Los Tortugas). Carlos, Angela and the rest of the staff at the dive shop are courteous, friendly and always aim to please. As others have noted, Diversity provided transportation each day to/from our lodging (Secrets Capri - what an unbelievable resort - we highly recommend it) to the dive shop and ultimately our diving destination for that particular day saving us mucho dinero/ $$$ over the course of several days of diving.

We definitely give Carlos and the crew at Diversity Divers "two thumbs up"!

I've just come back from 2 weeks in Mexico - Riu Yucatan, Riviera Maya. I did 2 ceynotes dives and the deep diver specialy with diversitydiving (http://www.diversitydiving.com/).

What can I say, great buch of guys, and excellent diving, they are situated in Playa del Carmen which is a couple of miles from the resort, however they picked me up and dropped me off each day. Diversity is relatively small unlike the big commercial scuba schools and because of this they are flexible, offer real value for money and it has a club like atmosphere.

The instructors I met were all european and are a great bunch of guys, they are the sort of people you would want to spend more time with. Diversities moto is come as a guest and leave as a friend and they mean it. If you can do it, the ceynotes are well worh a look, the sea dives I did were good as well, loads of big barracuda, tarpin, turtles and some lovely big (and friendly) bull sharks.


To sum up I loved Mexico and if I go again I will be diving with Diversitydiving
