Business serviceCome for the exquisite view over Puerto Vallarta, the clean, light and open rooms, and stay because the staff makes you feel so well-cared for and right at home! I stayed there again this year because Robert was so kind and friendly last year, and as a woman traveling on my own in a new city, helped me feel I had a friend and resource I could trust. The second trip I stayed on my own part of the time, and was equally well looked after by Tony, who's courtesy, knowledge and helpfulness made storing luggage and getting transportation for side trips out of town smooth and easy. Not to mention Christine the bartender, who besides being quick, and accomodating with off-menu items, is a blast to talk with. It's not everyday that the owner of an elegant boutique hotel graciously and personally helps guests with a laundry problem, but Isabel offered without skipping a beat. And if you like, Dave often offers to put a beer in your hand and a story in your ear. Cesar, and all the rest of the staff were always friendly and helpful without being intrusive. It's a great place to enjoy the pleasure of the sun sparkling off the Bay of Banderas, and rest after exploring the city!
Have a great trip!
Ellen
P.S. A note about the rooms and noise level preferences: if you take a lower room (the "hotel room" and "studios") you will hear the road below...it's a busy one! So take an upper room if you want a quieter stay.
While this was our first visit to Puerto Vallarta and Casa Isabel my wife and I have decided that it is not a matter of if, but how soon we will be back. If you are like us, not the "All Inclusive Type", and are looking for a place that has the right mix of privacy and social activities along with a nice home type feel, Casa Isabel could easily be the right choice. Many of the people we met at the Casa were repeat guests, with good reason. A typical day started with a walk around town exploring followed by a well deserved beverage and guacamole (thank you Simone) by the pool after the walk up the hill. The Casa is now serving breakfast & lunch, all very good, dinners in the near future. Then it was up to the upper deck, which we had to ourselves, for some sun. Next was "Happy 3 Hours" by the pool (2 for 1) where I had to ask Christine if I had paid for a round because I think that it was only $4. Then it was into town for sunset at CC's, dinner, then back to our balcony for fireworks. WiFi and free calls to the states made staying in contact with the family at home a breeze. Tony and the staff did a marvelous job of keeping everything running smoothly and responding to any requests. Thank you David, Isabel and Friends for your hospitality and for making us feel right at home at Casa Isabel/Puerto Vallarta.
See you there...

Business serviceWe stayed in the "Honeymoon Suite" although it was not our honeymoon but our 15th anniversary. It was beautiful! The view spectacular and the staff more than accomadating. Isabel and Dave make you feel like your part of their family, we could not have been treated nicer. This is our 6th year going to Puerto Vallarta and love the people and the town. We feel that PV is one of the safest places to visit in Mexico! Casa Isabel's is THE place to stay while you are there!

Business serviceMy husband and I were guests in suite number 302 in the beautiful, well maintained Casa Isabel. Suite 302 is a very large, one bedroom, balcony apartment with bay and hillside views. We enjoyed socializing at the Friday evening party and Saturday morning breakfast hosted by the owners, Isabel and Dave. We watched TV with English language programming and used the in-room phone with free calling in PV and to Canada and the USA. The comfortable king size bed had six pillows. One set of floor-to-ceiling windows folded open to our spacious private balcony and another set from the bedroom to the living room. We loved the delicious drinks and lunches served by Christina Martillo at the pool side bar terrace with its sweeping view of the bay and the breeching whales. This was our first stay at the Casa Isabel but it is probably our 10th stay in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica. We are very glad to have discovered Casa Isabel and we will be back there on future trips. We look forward to seeing the Zona Romantica fan out below our gaze. We treasure our walks down and up the steps and slopes because they keep us in great shape.
