“The Best Hotel that i ever stayed at!!!!”

The Qunita Real is a five star hotel in my book and is a four star in AAA books. This hotel has a beautiful scenary and the people there are the best. They really treat you like you are a king and queen. The food at its restaurant is delcious and thats what i called a five star resturant. If you want a hotel that is relaxing, and cozy come to this hotel. there were mostly families while i was there but that didn't matter because i was with my boyfriend whom absoultely loved it. It is secluded from the other hotels and its the best that i have ever been too!

This is a wonderful hotel. We went for our anniversary and were met at the front desk with two glasses of champagne. This resort is Just the right size not too many rooms so it is very quiet and personal. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. All of the rooms face the ocean. The food at the hotel is excellent and the staff from the wait staff to the concierge were always very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and be attended to this is your place. Ideal for honeymoons, anniversary or just escaping. If you are looking for cheap food, partying, and hanging out this is not the place for you. The prices for food and drinks are about the same at a nice hotel in the U.S. The location although lovely is about 25 minute drive to downtown ACA where most of the nightclubs and bars are. If you want to get away from the crowds of central ACA this is where you want to be but be prepared to pay approx. 18$ for a cab ride into central ACA.

This was the best hotel ever!!!!! The location couldn't be better. It is away from everything. The service is top notch. The rooms are beautiful and they all face the ocean. The view is breath taking. If you wanna go somewhere to relax pick this hotel. If you wanna be where the traffic and parties are, this place is not for you, as it is about 25 minutes from downtown Acapulco. The food was was delicious. Just true paradise.

But ended very well. Although this was a vacation, I do need to use my laptop about an hour a day. I was told before I booked the trip that the hotel had high speed internet in the rooms. Well, they do have a phone hook-up that doesn't work (which means that my laptop was a waste to bring) but the manager does allow guests to use his computer.
The hotel is beautiful but the beach is not too good. No white sand here and directly next door to the hotel is a huge public beach ... it was awful. They had 100's (yes 100's) of portable "cabanas" set up and it was filled with locals. To take a stroll down the beach was useless, we literally had to step over people and dodge kids throwing balls, sand, etc. Not to mention the local venders selling tacos and meats (and following your every move.) We didn't know the kids were still out of school in Mexico. If you come at this time, plan on staying at the pool, it'll be fine.
The first few days were very hectic at the pool; the weekends fill up with local people, their children and nannies. There are about 7 very nice cabanas and even the mornings I got up at 5am to reserve one, they were all taken! That was a shame. The pool service was very good; they would bring out towels and were always ready to take a drink order.
Only 2 places to eat and one is only for lunch (until 5pm) service is very, very slow. Even empty, it took a minimum of 2 1/2 hours to eat. We waited about 30 minutes just for a check. The food was good.
The rooms are nice, the baths are big, but the balcony is very small and there is no room for any chairs so you can't sit out there and relax. One of the neatest things for us to do is to sit outside on the balcony, watch the ocean and have a drink. No way was this possible at this place. We ended up switching to a Governors Suite which had a large balcony, lounge chairs and a pool. It was a bigger room too and well worth the price. We didn't need the extra room so basically we paid for a balcony that we could use.
The hotel is very clean and we did enjoy our stay. We would stay there again but would be sure to do so in the off season.
The staff is very friendly. Many upper-end Mexican families come for the weekend with their wild, non-disiplined children. All of this is pretty typical of Mexico though.

“The ONLY place to stay in Acapulco!”

Quinta Real Acapulco

The Quinta Real is in Punto Diamante, a new part of Acapulco between the Airport and the main strip. It has the advantage of a relatively secluded, clean and rather nice beach (unlike most other hotels in the area). The boutique nature of the hotel and the generous room sizes means a very romantic and quiet getaway. In general the food was good as was the service, particularly poolside. An excellent breakfast topped off the package.

I think we would have hated Acapulco had we not stayed here. Cannot reccomend this enough!
