I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel because of the great reviews it got. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are just ok. The bathroom is ok, but very clean. The bathroom door hit the toilet when u opened it, so that was a little annoying having to come completely inside the bathroom and then close the door to get to the toilet or shower, even if you just wanted to get some tissue or something. I will say everything was very clean. The small area rug needs to be replaced, I didnt even want to put my bare feet on it. We had the plan that included breakfast which was good. It was fresh every morning. The hotel is small and it was very quiet except for the construction going on in the back of the hotel. And since our room was in the back, that was annoying some days. The pool area is nice and quiet, the bar is right there. The staff overall was very nice and helpful. The beach is right across the street which was great. Overall the Rayon was ok but if you're looking for a little more lively atmosphere I would stay somewhere else. If you're loooking for peace and quiet and humble accomodations stay here.

WE LOVED OUR VACATION we stayed at the rayon in negril for 1 week , right across from the most beautiful beach, we always felt like we were coming home to an oasis of beautiful flowers, clean rooms, a nice pool and friendly people.... the hotel restaurant was just okay , but the comp. coffee in the a.m. was an added bonus. loved it and will be back... just a dream now in 6 feet of SNOW

The Rayon Hotel really is the hidden treasure that up till now has been burried from us within the beauty of Jamaica's charm.
Our seventh time has finally uncovered more than just a Hotel! But a mini 5 star resort .
Its architectural design is grand and its appearance is invting to the eyes from the time you arrive .
The Hotels drive is a brick inliad surrounded by well trimed and manecured plantings of scented flowers.Palm trees and colorful shrubery that adorn the grounds and grace the swimming pool itself .
The walk way is crafted of attractive mosaic tiles that strecth through out the complete hotel ,the rooms are nicely sized with large walk in closets and full bath ,each room has both a front and rear exit with its own patio,The beds are frim ,the rooms are cleaned to perfection and the staff is awesome.

The Restaurant over looks the pool and the large variety of menu options we ate were so deliciouse and good portioned ...

Thanks to this website and negril.com for all the research going into planning the perfect vacation. Wife and I just got back and it was incredible. Beautiful hotel in a nice location. Every day staff was ensuring that everything was clean, that we were full of delicious food, and well hydrated at the poolside bar in the evenings.
Pansy has a 24 hour security staff to ensure that all guests on the premises aren't "hustled" by the locals. Met a great English couple there that made for interesting nights at the bar (thanks for the memories Keith and Christine).
