Absolutely wonderful stay! The accomodations and service were of superior quality. I hope to return for a second stay soon.

This resort is just a short trip from NY. It's just as easy as Miami or Puerto Rico but it's less crowded and feels much more remote. It's a short flight and the resort is not far from the airport. It was even easier because the staff met us at the airport and handled our baggage claim and customs entry while we sat in a lounge and sipped cool drinks. It made the trip effortless!

We were a group of 8 close friends and stayed in 4 amazing bungalows. The accomodations were extremely comfortable and luxurious with a seperate livingroom and terrace equipped with comfortable furniture. Every room had a docking station for an ipod (Thank God!) so my music was with me wherever I went!

We spoiled ourselves a lot on this trip. We had a fully catered breakfast every morning in one of the rooms. The food was delicious and the staff was increadibly gracious and accomodating. We also chartered a small jet and flew to the other side of the carribbean and spent the day on a gorgeous yacht.

The property is huge and there is always somone to drive you around in a golf cart. It was perfect for a morning run too! There are flowers everywhere and it's hilly so it was a good challenge for a morning run.

Since the property is so large it's a must to explore every pool area. We discovered the best pool at the end. It was on the oposite side of the reception coming from our rooms so we didn't see it at first. It is beautifully designed with covered cabanas, beds and a waterfall in the pool! We also loved the pool by the spa. It is very zen there.

Down the beach a newly renovated restaurant is quaint and delicious. It's a cool local vibe where you get to know the crowd in 10 minutes. We watched a local kite surfer do jaw dropping moves by day and by night the place became a party with our upbeat group of friends and their gracious accomodating style!

This resort is well suited for groups or couples and is perfect for a last minute decision to pack a couple of things and GO!

Went to the Maxim Bungalows with a group of friends. We loved everything. The accomodations were far better than almost anywhere I have stayed, in any of the jetsetter spots.

The staff was exceptionally accomodating, and pleasant. There are a few cars with drivers on the property. They were great, anything we needed, whatever excursion we wanted to go on, they were ready to take us, and with a smile. Make sure to tip those folks well, they deserve it!

The beach, pools, and restaraunts both on site and nearby were all outstanding.

I'll definitely go back and bring the family this time.

We went down with a group, 5 guys, and 4 girls, and had the most amazing time. This is one of the coolest places we've been, and we do Vegas, Miami, Cabo, etc.

The place is beautiful. We had suites and they are designed like you are in some million dollar Hollywood apartment. We met some other cool girls and had a party in one of our rooms, and other people came by, it was very cool. Bathrooms are all marble and big, with jacuzzi's, double sinks, really, really nice. We also had a giant balcony, about 1000 square feet. I think you can see the ocean from almost every room.

The pool scene is sick. Awesome cabana's, frozen drinks, good music, its very boutique, like one of the cool 5-star Miami properties, except the service is MUCH better. Everyone down there is so nice, and wants you to have a good time. They have a ton of staff, you are never left wanting.

We climbed waterfalls, went ATVing, golfing, and they have beautiful tennis courts (I play a lot) right there, with ballboys and attendees. So much to do.

Town is cool too. We hit a couple of clubs where there were other people in their late 20's like us.

The resort had a mix of young singles, and some people slightly older, but what was great was that everyone was cool. It's a "Maxim" resort so everyone "gets it."

You could do your own thing in a private poolside cabana, or socialize.

They just opened a "Social" restaurant, same as the one in Miami at the Sagamore, and I think the same as the one in LA, so there is a very hip vibe to all the dining and room service.

Why did it take so long for a company like Maxim to do this? Its the perfect idea.

Oh, while we were there there were some celebrities staying there. We hung with them a bit, so I don't want to say who, but one was a famous actress, and another was a reality star and her Heisman Trophy winning bf from the NFL.

Everyone was cool. I'd reccommend ot over anything else in the Carib or Miami. Anyway, we are all going back for 4th of July!! Have fun!
