My friends and I travelled to Tokyo late Sep-2006, and we we're so delighted with this hotel. We stayed in a twin bedroom which was fantastic value for money. It is located along the main road in Roppongi, but is just off the pub / nightclub circuit. It's only a 2min walk from the Roppongi metro station, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and convinience stores around.
The staff speak good english and are very helpful. Check in is at 3pm so expect to pay a bit more for early check in. The hotel lobby is quite small, but the rooms are suprisingly comfortable. The decor is modern and comfortable, unlike the typical business hotel layouts in other places.
They hand out toiletries and bath salts in their welcome gift pack. The rooms are equipt with tv (no english channels), fridge and a small ensuite bathroom.
The only minus point will be their morning buffet breakfast. It was very limited : scrambled eggs, mini sausages, japanese porridge, coffee, tea, milk and juice. But with so many cafes around, finding cheap food, western or japanese (24 hour sushi bar next door), was not a problem.
If you're travelling from Narita, the nearest hotel with bus transfers to the airport is ANA hotel which is a 5min taxi ride down the main road.
Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. I recommend this place for young traveller and couples, or anyone who wants to stay somewhere else other than in Shinjuku for a very good price! Just remember to book the rooms early as they go pretty fast! Check out the B Asakasa too!
