We plan on spending July 4th in Boston this year. Is it worth going to get wristbands for the concert at the hatch? or is there a better place to hear the music and still see the fireworks?Thanks!

NO LONGFELLOW BRIDGE THIS YEAR?? - Just last week the Boston Globe ran a piece that said the state would be closing Longfellow from pedestrians on the 4th owing to some sort of repairs underway on the sidewalks.

I watched last year from Mass Ave in Central Square and could see just fine. When the crowds came streaming down the street, we ducked back into a bar to wait it out.
