harrahs info needed |
|
Staying at Harrahs in Reno in July for four nights. Any info on which rooms are the best and in what section of hotel. Will be doing sightseeing a couple of days along with gambling. Will be doing a drive around Lake Tahoe. What else is a must see for first timers. All suggestions are welcomed! |

I'll add Virgina City to that drive around Lake Tahoe. I'm a fan of eating....Harrahs Steakhouse to the Golden Nugget's Awful Awful Burger. | ||||||

I just posted our TR on our visit to Harrah's Reno. I hope some of that may be useful for you. My first recommendation is you try to book your room through a host if you are a Harrah's Total Rewards member. Mid-week stays will get you the best accomodations like always. We've only stayed at Harrah's Reno twice, my input would be to ask for the west tower but I don't have any specifics to compare to. If you can, try to book a nights stay in Tahoe, there is Harvey's and Harrah's Hotel/Casino in South Shore, both are Harrah's properties and are fabulous. Tahoe in general has more activity for first timers. If you are going just to gamble, Reno is fine; otherwise you should consider staying in Tahoe for at least part of your trip. Best of luck to you!
