How much is a typical taxi fare from the airport to downtown Reno?

We have had two of them....one was $17 and the other $20. That was from the airport to Fitzgeralds.

icemaiden: Save the 20 dollars and take the shuttle (every hotel/casino where I have stayed has a shuttle, and they are not like the ones in Vegas...takes about 15 minutes to get to your hotel...same for the return trip...couple dollars tip..

Go with Jungle's answer and take your hotels free shuttle bus.

We did and it was perfect.
