Regency Club Level |
|
Trying not to sound like I don't like to be around children but is it true that the Regency Club levels usually have alot of families staying on those floors? A friend of mine who stayed at the Hyatt in San Francisco said during a romantic weekend there, when they went in for evening cocktails and appetizers people had their children running around, eating the food as fast as they could put it out and making the atmosphere not quite adult like. Also my sister said the same with the Hyatt in Scottsdale.. anyone else have found this to be true? Nothing against families but for adult getaways would rather skip that part.. |

We stay in the regency club when we are with our 3 children and yes there are children in the club. It is an economical way to take us to breakfast and have snacks. I have never encountered children running in and out (our kids our 10, 14, 17) I have rarely seen toddlers there. It is certainly not exclusive to adults if that is what you are after. I think a lot depends on the location.

We stay in Hyatt Regency Clubs when traveling, and find it depends on the resort or time of year. The Hyatt Grand Champions in the Palm Desert area doesn't allow children in after 5 PM. When we were in the one in SF Union Square we didn't notice any there the weekend we went. We stay at the Tahoe Hyatt during the week in winter, and only some kids there, out of school. I would imagine in summer, there would be many kids, as the hotel is usually sold out.
