I plan to take the RTC Intercity bus from Reno to Carson City. However, there is no longer bus service from the airport to 4th and Center. I called and was told to take a shuttle, but I can't find anything other than hotel shuttles. Is there another option besides to taxi to downtown Reno? If not, what is the approx. taxi fare from the airport to 4th and Center?

I know that this was posted a while ago, but I will answer for the benefit of other future visitors.

From 4th and Center, ask for a free transfer from the driver, get off the bus and catch route 14A. That will get you to the airport. Whoever told you otherwise was severely misinformed.

There is also CREST which stops at the Nugget and goes to the airport four days a week or so for only $8.00
