we aren't sure where to stay. we don't wan't anything too crowded but we want to be able to go to the beach., we are bringing our dog but the rv campgrounds say pets can not be left alone in the rv in case the power goes out and the a/c gets turned off. pets can only be on the beach in that area before 10 and after 5. we won't be dragging our car so the rv is the only way to get around and it sounds like there is no rv parking at the orchard beach area. what i'd like to know is, are there any rv campground directly ON the beach that allows pets so we can spend all day on the beach? it doesn't have to be in portland. we are going labor day weekend. we would also like to be in an area that isn't so crowded you can't drive your rv around town looking for a spot to park it.
