Hey mutter

the trip from MCO will be about 30 minutes

Have a look at www.happylimo.com www.tiffanytowncars.com www.mearstransportation.com www.fltours.com

I'm sure one of those companies has 'that white long one' :)

Mears met us in a luxury white car, leather seats, but not a limo, don't know if they do them, but the driver we had was really excellent! He was a great help to us as 3 of our 4 suitcases hadn't turned up when we flew with U S Airways.

We thanked our lucky stars that he was there to meet us as he was so experienced with this sort of thing and gave us great advice which turned out to be 100% correct.

Thank You to both partypa and happy

And happy did You get your luggage ?

We are flying with continental and have one stop at

newark and I am a bit worried about luggages, but my husbond has been looking at a map so he says its going to work out.

But I have a friend who flew with american airlines

and that was in february and they still miss one suitecase.

I really want a white long one.

I am saying to my kids that we are going to take a normal taxi, but when we turn out of mco and will be meet with a long white limo I think their eys will drop out. It will be a sort of a one time experiance.

Hej mutter!

We are flying with Continental via Newark as well, I'm hoping that as our aircraft only appears to touch down to refuel rather than change planes the cases will arrive in MCO with us (fingers crossed;)

You will get as big a kick out of the surprise as your friends, hope you can get the white limo.

Enjoy!

Mutter - that will be a great surprise for them!

Mairn - Sorry, but you will be changing planes at Newark with Continental. It's not just a fuel stop

that sounds like it'll be a nice surprise :) how long is your lay-over in newark with continental? are you staying with the same airline or are you switching airlines in newark?

I use http://www.lordentransportation.com and they have both black and white limo's--your choice.

I have found thier pricing competitive and the service far more reliable than some of the other limo companies out there. I have PERSONALLY used them half a dozen times in the past three years for nights on the town and airport and cruise transfers, so I recommend them as I've used them, not because I heard from some Internet board that they were good.

They will assist with luggage as well. As long as you request it in advance, Lorden will also take you to a grocery store so you can get some bottled water or soda or snacks.

Once your limo is loaded it will take 25-30 minutes to get to the Dolphin from Orlando International depending on traffic. It can take up to an hour for your luggage to show up on the conveyor at MCO--plan accordingly.

I'll be heading down at Christmas time to visit my family, so I'll miss welcoming you to Orlando by just a bit!

As for the connection time, I think you'll be fine. Generally speaking when you're on the same airline to make the connection they move pretty well, especially Continental, they have less problems (to my knowledge) than some of the others. The nice thing is that Newark is a busy airport and Continental is a large airline, so if your bags miss the connecting flight, they'll have them on the next flight down. You won't be waiting all that long for them. Just save the tags they give you and most airlines will have them delivered to your hotel for you (so you won't have to worry about getting back to the airport for them.) But, I think an hour and half is plenty of time for a connection. As long as things run smoothly you'll be fine and if they don't, I still think you'll be okay! :)

I used to get really anxious about flying, but I missed a flight once by 5 minutes (supposed to take an hour, maybe an hour and a half on a bad day to get to the airport...took me three.) And since then I've calmed down a lot. My motto is this: "I'll get there when I get there." It helps :)
