It seems pretty much done, but don't know for sure. I will be walking by it today on the way to breakfast on the beach and i will take a peek.

Well, took a walk by this morning and it is totally closed down and not much construction going on and from the looks of it lots to do. Don't see it open in the near future, but i have been fooled before.

You might want to contact them directly and see if they plan to open by Feb. I would think they would not want to miss the upcoming tourist season.

Also checkout the Viva Wyndham Tangerine which is on the western edge of Cabarete Beach. About a 10 min walk along the beach to the center of town.

I've heard that Azurro is being converted to condos. Not sure though if the rumor is correct, but wouldn't surprise me.

I also loved Azzurro. Very sad as now we have to find another resort in Cabarete. Any thoughts as to one that is similar to the size and location?
