I will be travelling with 2 other single girls. Our age range between 35-45 years. We stayed last year at Sosua, and loved it. WE heard Cabarete is just as excting. Any suggetions to an all- inclusive hotel? Also, are they any hotels, where you don`t have to rent the chairs? WOuld appreciate any suggetions.

Hi there!

I would suggest if going to Cabarete that you do NOT go to an all inclusive. One of the many wonderful things about Cabarete is there are numerous places to grab a bite and drinks on the beach or across the road. We met some people while we were there that grew tired of their AI and ended up traveling into town to eat, drink, and hang out.

A lot of the hotels and condo/apt complexes along the beach have chairs out in front of them. There were always empty chairs for sunbathing.

My husband and I just fell in love with Cabarete. I would be happy to tell you about the places we visited. Feel free to PM me.

You should visit Tropicoco for their all you can eat BBQ on Sat nights! And say Hello to Francisco!

Cabarete would be a great choice. I agree that you might want to rethink the AI hotel, though staying at one does not mean that you cannot venture out to eat and drink elsewhere. Some Hotel choice would be Viva Wyndham (AI) Azuro (AI) Valereo, Tainia, Casa Laguna (AI) or rent a condo on the beach like Ocean Dream, Nanny estates, among many.

I'd second that, after a few days of A/I I found myself spending most of my days/nights out of the hotel, eating and drinking in town. Did spend more money than I'd thought I would as I obviously expected to be eating and drinking free.

Enjoy.

Hi there,

thanks to all of your insightful advices. I will definetly rethink aboyt AI. I guess the idea is to keep the cost/spending under control.

thanks again,

Our goup (8 people) stayed at the Wyndham Tangerine and loved it. We liked all the activites the hotel had to offer and the convenience of being able to walk into town at night.
