The Showboat has the same rate. We going in 2 weeks at the $89 Sun-thurs. Of course when I called for a rate for Sat night as we decided we wanted to start our vacation a day earlier it was $500 just for Sat night.

I just made a reservation for my father at the Showboat and it was $149 and $169 a night weekday. How do I get the lower rate? Is there a code I need?

we made our reservations I think back in March but had called the hotel directly and was given that rate. Maybe try calling to see if they will give you the cheaper rate.

Actually I was looking to book the Tropicana offer and wondered if anyone had tried that.

I didn't book it. Just got a post card from Trop with this code and prices. I'm not a high roller there at all. Just played only a couple of times a while ago. Thus, I assume this offer works for everyone. You can try also to use this code on phone. There should be a 1-800 number on their web site.

The code was valid, but they have sold out of the promotional rooms. I called the hotel and they said it WAS a valid code. RATS...I am always late on these things. Thanks for putting it out there.
