Stayed in Three Corners Rihana, El Gouna in June & the food was really poor. Took our grandson & would like to again but most good offers seem to be Three Corners hotels; are they better in other resorts; we have been to other resorts but this was first in 3 corners.Thanks.

Hi K'sGran, I've stayed at the Three Corners Ocean View at El Gouna and was very impressed with the food. I think the OV is a star above the Rihana, so therefore is a tad more expensive. Obviously the siutation of it is a little different - its on the marina, it does have a couple of pools and a sort of man made 'beach' strip around the hotel - though personally i think i will prefer the Rihana situation, on its own little lagoon and also downtown. (we go in December) However, back to food, the OV had my vote - along with the extra 5lbs that I put on whilst I was there - oh those cakes!!!!!

Hi There

I stayed at the St George three corners in April / May this year and was not impressed with the food at all.

Sorry about that. Meant to say St. George Three Corners, Sharm El Sheik, so as not to get mixed up with any other hotels.

Many thanks for your replies. I know we got a good deal at the TC Rihana i.e. a free child place but there were other couples there without children & I thought if I had paid what we did for just 2 of us I would have been really annoyed (& some were). I am starting to read recent reviews & people have had upset stomachs (I did & it lasted quite a while after returning so where I would not have been certain it was a hygiene problem I am now pretty sure it was).I think the Ocean View is aimed at Adults not Families so may be better (also the price). The TC in Sharm looked an option (price wise) which is partly why I asked this question. When booking holidays for my partner & myself the choices (with research) are easier but hard when we come to take our grandson again.
