Are we planning too much? |
|
Our trip was supposed to be Monday - Sunday but due to a couple of flight mixups it is now Tuesday - Saturday. We arrive at LAX at 9am on Tuesday morning and fly out at 5:30pm on Saturday evening. We are staying in Anaheim and we'll be there Sept 23-27. Things that we definitely want to do are: Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame, dinner at The London, shopping, and Rodeo Drive/sightsee. We would love to go to a couple of bars too. This is what we were thinking about doing? Tuesday - get rental car, Hollywood/LA sightseeing, dinner reservations at 6pm in Hollywood, bar in that area at night Wednesday - Disneyland Thursday - Universal Studios, Citywalk (I got my husband a ticket for iFly) Friday - California Aventure in the am, Disneyland again later on Saturday - Shopping (we were thinking the Block at Orange??) Does this sound doable or are we trying to do too much?? We have been to DL and USH before so we know what we want to do and what we want to skip as well as have a good idea of the layout of the park. We're in our early-mid 20's and we're pretty good at keeping going for a bit... Does anyone have any better suggestions how to do this?? Or other places to visit instead (maybe another mall?) Thanks in advance! |

Can you change hotels? If you could spend Tuesday and Wednesday night in Hollywood or Beverly Hills and then Thursday and Friday night in Anaheim you could save on the headache and time wasted driving and still do everything you want. We're doing something similar, spending two nights in LA (Hyatt Century City, off of priceline) and later two nights in Anaheim (Residence Inn, Maingate). For me, a half a day of sightseeing is enough for Hollywood and Beverly Hills and a day at Universal is enough. I could spend a month at Disneyland, but two days is better than none!! :-) Have a great trip. Amy | ||||||
