I don't know about Lake Garda with babies specifically but I can tell you that if you travel in Italy with a baby it is imperative that your child wear a hat to shield his or her head from the sun, or you will be reproached by women on the street wherever you go.

First and foremost, italians LOVE babies and your biggest problem I would say is stopping them kissing your baby's head.Seriously,you are about to stay in what I regard as one of the best hotels in Limone, I am quite sure that you will find the entire staff will "bend over backwards" to help you in every way.In fact, they dont see that many guests with very young children in the hotel but they are well versed at sterilising bottles and even if you have to purchase baby food in the little supermarket in Limone (choice of two) they will heat it for you.We have taken our grandsons to Limone and stayed at the your hotel's sister hotel,although they were small boys rather than babies they loved it and the staff were wonderful to them. Have a great holiday as we will once again on July 12th.

PS.You can wear jeans but I bet your lady will show you up by dressing"to the nines" and the situation probably deserves something a little more in keeping.

Thats a worry off my mind! its good to know the staff will help out where possible and that babies will be welcome.
