Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a tour (with which company) for Potsdam? Is there a difference in doing a bike or a walking tour in Potsdam? Which one would you recommend, biking or walking tour? Thank you!

Hi,

actually, since 2005 bike-riding is no longer permitted inside the gardens.

No idea how they handle it on a guided bike-tour. Mayby they push them inside the gardens?

Anyway, enjoy Potsdam

i would recommend the walking tour, for potsdam is not that big. you can easily walk from the tran station all the way thru the dutch quatier to the schloss and san soussis, all-in-all maybe like an hour walk for the round trip - and it's beautiful!

the first time i was i tried a bus tour from the train station, which is okay, but for the full potsdam treatment, walking is the best option!
