Okay, that did not format very well! My [comments] are after each listing and not before but you probably figured that out.

And thanks to Ferdia I was reminded of the free internet access at the Killarney Branch of Kerry County Library conveniently located next to a car park at the top of High Street. From Beaufort you would drive in towards town making a left at the roundabout onto Port Road, right onto New Road (before large stone buildings (monastory/cathedral). At the lights you will go through and veer downhill on the far side to the right and enter the carpark there. [Very strange intersection] This is a pay carpark so you can pay at the machines and easily walk into town. It is the quietest of the carparks. This map should help

What a great list tony! Thank you for taking the time to compile it. Do you happen to have any for the rest of Kerry? Any links to share?
|
Oh I stole it and modified it but you are welcome all the same and for a decent list for the entire country sorted by county there is http://www.irelandyes.com/internet.html

Tonyirish you are wonderful! Thanks so much. This will help us alot. I think many of the computers located in the US for customers also charge by minute. Any idea of the charge? I haven't had any time to check on your list, so maybe those links will provide the answers I seek.

I believe they average about E3 per hour but might be slightly more since my last visit. They seem to break it down by 15 minute intervals but they will have rates posted as your enter. And since you will be using it to save money on your tickets you can justify it! Right? ;)

If you drop into the Killarney Park Hotel (slap bang in the middle of town) you an use their free Internet Access computer (L/H side of the entrance to the bar). I'am sure if you buy a drink in the bar you will not be stopped.

Thanks so much Johnny for this "insider" info. Our group is 15 people, so we can split everyone up--some go to the library, some go to the hotel... Maybe the owners of our vacation house will have some ideas of free/low cost computer access too.
|
Well tony, I guess we should actually be thanking the person who really researched and wrote that list! ;-)
