Does anyone know if there is any public transportation that I could take from the Montreal internation airport (YUL) to downtown Montreal? Is it very far away from downtown? Many thanks!

It's far by public transportation, since you need to take 2 busses and a métro... I say splurge and take the shuttle downtown. For more info, see this post:

... or if you don't want to go through this hassle, take a cab. There is a flat $35 rate between the airport and downtown.

Really, if you don't mind paying the price, it's really worth it. Switching buses and metros and stuff with luggages isn't that much fun, really.
