I'm under the impression that if you take the shuttle to the hotel zone that there is approximately a 4 hour window in which to do your activities & there's a pre-set time for you to return unless you choose to pay for a cab ride back.

Our travel agent told someone in our group that you can catch the last shuttle back. Is this correct? Do we have that flexibility? Wouldn't too many people want to come back on the last shuttle?

And if WE do NOT have that flexibility, could it be that a travel agent does? Are they treated differently perhaps?

Also, what time does the first shuttle leave for the hotel zone? I read it's noon, is this correct?

It is correct that the 1st shuttle leaves aroun noon. You can try to get the last shuttle back but there are no promises. We have tried and once we were able to get the last shuttle, as it was not at full capacity, another time we were refused. But hey, it's only US16.00 for the taxi back. It really depends on how important the extra time and money are to you.

The shuttle leaves from the Moon Palace at noon,2,5,and 7 and picks up people to go back at 4,6,9 and 10:30. It's actually a bus not a shuttle. It also has daily stops at the Sun, Cancun and Beach palace.

So the travel agent was right? You can leave the Moon at noon, stay as long as you want & even catch the last shuttle bus if there's room you CAN use it, correct? In other words, there is NO pre-set time that THEY will tell you to be back to the pick up spot?

I'm not really concerned about the cab or the cost because that's minor. I'm just trying to find out if there are certain RULES for using the shuttle bus. Thanks!

The travel agent was correct. They don't use a list of anykind for catching a ride on the bus. I'm not even sure if they check wristbands to make sure that all passangers are guests. Just make sure that you know where you need to be to get on the bus.The first return everyday is from Pat Obriens.Monday and Friday the other pickup point is at caracol mall.On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday it picksup at La Isla Mall and on Wednesday and Sunday you can board at Flamingo Mall. They will give you a schedule when you check in and also remind you as they drop you off.

I was mad one night when the shuttle sped right by us and never made its stop!

Money was an object to us!
