Im staying at the Grand Oasis Cancun this weekend and thinking of taking my own beach towels or do they let you borrow some?

Also if im going a Xel Ha TOUR should i take my own towels?

Yes, you can trade in your room key for a beach towel, then when you are done you can get it back on your way to the room.

We stayed at the Oasis Cancun in April. I found it was easier and less stressful to use my own beach towels. My daughter and I packed them just in case, and preferred them. I alternated between 2, had one drying on the balcony, when using the other. No worries about someone stealing the hotel's towel and having to pay the $50.00 for them. I heard of that happening. In fact it happened to a family we traveled with. They don't take up too much room; my suggestion is to take one or two.
