We purchased the vacation club membership for the Solaris Resorts last Oct. on our first trip to Cancun. We are going again this Oct. My question is. HOw do you pay your inclusive rate ahead of time??? I called Solaris and they sent me an email with a fax form to include my Credit card # and info. to fax back to them so they can take the amount out within 45 days of our trip. Is this how other club members do this?? I am just concerned about faxing all the personal info. for them to use on my credit card. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me as well. Thanks so much!

We've used the forms in the past couple years without issue though it does make it a bit uncomfortable sending as much information as they're asking. We've also been able to do this over the phone directly with the GR Solaris representative which may be a more comfortable option. Keep in mind, with the possible exception of the CC#, they already have the bulk of the info on file anyway from your purchase.

Brian~ in years past, we use to make the payment through the Texas office via mailed check, and pay the balance on arrival for the all inclusive but I'm not sure that option exists anymore but I'll see if I can find out for you. I seem to remember something about direct payments to the GR for less than 90 day bookings but that may have been the hotels excuse.

We became members last year in Aug. We are returning again this year (2&3rd week of Aug). We faxed info down for ourselves and guests w/o any problems. I did call to confirm that everything was received OK because that fax # has way too many digits! I ended up speaking to a very nice woman (Angeles) who followed up with a phone call and multiple emails confirming all of our requests (ocean view rooms, etc.). I would recommend doing the same. Everything is all set and we are looking forward to our stay at the GR as we stayed in the Royal last year. Good luck.
