Thanks for all the suggestions. When the travel agent I called tried to book she couldn't do it for me as it has a maximum of 2 adults at the Crown.

So even though the 14 year old is a child she comes in as a adult...........

If you would only tell us when you need a place we coiuld help....what are the dates you need ??????

Actually, a condo rental might work better for you.

I believe Melia has a family room which has two beds and a bunk bed. It is all inclusive and the older child would be charged as an adult, but it was very reasonable when we went. We had 2 rooms because we have 4 children and it was less than $100 per person and my 12 year old was free. This was in late April. My travel agent couldn't find the "family room" when she tried to book because that type of room wasn't offered in the package we were booking.

Tons of 2 and 3 bedroom condo rentals in the marina, and I would also second the suggestion of the Velas Vallarta. Have been in their 3 bedroom suites, very large and spacious.

Do you want all inclusive or not? As mentioned above, Velas Vallarta has 2 and 3 bedrooms available but it is an all inclusive resort unless you are an owner - maybe you could rent from an owner if you don't want the all inclusive plan (what dates are you looking to go?)
