maybe this is a stupid question...I am assuming with sandals that I can eat whenever I want (as long as the restaurants are open) In other words, we are not restricted to 3 meals a day, we can eat what we want when we want assuming the restaurants are open.

We do not have a concierge level rooms so we won't have access to the 24 hr room service.

My hubby likes to eat a few small meals a day vs 3 large ones.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can eat whenever you want to. Along with the resturants, they had a snack bar and a pizza place when we stayed there a couple of years ago. It is a compact but very nice resort. Enjoy!

Yes, you can eat 23 hours a day @ SDR.

The only time that you cannot get something is betweek the hours of 5:00am and 6:00am. This is the time when the beach grill closes, and breakfast starts.

The grill has a pretty good selection of items such as a grilled fish sandwich, jerk chicken, burgers, wraps, grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, green salad, fruit salad, Jamaican patties, nachos, etc. At the piazza, they have pizza in 3 sizes and also by the slice and also have ice cream and just had a snow cone out there on the last day of our most recent stay (July 12). They also have cookies and hot nuts out there and calzones.

On Tuesday, they have a chocolate buffet. There are also events like the manager's cocktail party, which is now at 3:30 in the afternoon. At this, there are appetizers and wine and cheese.

Just be careful and do not eat to much, Sandals resorts are so foodie you could go just for the food.

We have been to SGOR twice, and will be going to SDR August 4th. In the past, we would sometimes do several snack/meals instead of 3 big meals. That allowed us more time for our varied schedule, and also helped soak up some of the alcohol. :)

Be sure and try new foods - its part of the experience. You may find all kinds of great things that you would not normally even try. And if you don't like something, don't be shy, ask for or get something else.

Hello,

Yes you can eat as much as you want. But beware of those black birds looking to grab your food right off your plate during the day. Uggggg that was the only thing I did not like. We stayed at Sandals in Ocho Rios and visited the sister-resort, being Dunns River. The birds are a nuisance. They actually remind me of seagulls, I see you are from Philly, so you know what I am saying. With that said, enjoy your vacation. I know you will.
