Has anyone recently flown with Thompson holidays via a Premier booking? If so can you help? we've been given Premier booking with Thompsons which allows us to be at the airport two hours before instead of three and we've also got a £4.00 voucher for on the plane, the only thing I'm confused with is the weight for check in luggage is showing 25kg and 10/5 kg (cant remember which)for hand luggage, can anyone clarify what the weight allowance is just for the suitcase on a long haul flight on a premier booking ??? much appreciated ..

heyyyy

When you fly with Thomsonfly with premier tickets, you can check in 25kg or carry on up to 10kg of hand luggage - provided your combined total doesn't top 30kg =)

that any help?

Thanks for that, thats how I read it, but after speaking to thompson's they've given me different answers? when we originally booked the holiday it didnt come under premier but the tickets show as premier? where not sure if they've given us this as were a group of 15 but once again when you speka to them there not very clear, I've weighed my case and its not far from the 25kg hope are tickets are right.

If anything, it looks like Thomson have upgraded you all to premier as you are a group booking of 15..

We are flying with 1st Choice and have regular seats on the plane but the hotel is a Premier hotel which I think gives you extra luggage. Our allowance is 23kg and we have to allow 90 minutes at the airport rather than the standard 3 hours - although we've been advised to get there 2 hours before.

hi where are you staying?.We are going to ocean blue with thomson and because it is a beachclub we get all the perks. We get extra kgs, free drink on board priority check in, free earphones. That might be why you have extra. As for the 25kgs im confused too but I think its as someone else said 25kg plus hand luggage as long as its not over 30kg. I dont think its 25kgs with hand luggage.

Where staying in Rui Cancun cant wait, I've now phoned thomopson's desk at Manchester Airport and they've confirmed its 25kg for your check in luggage (just suitcase) so I feel a bit better now, still a bit over weight but I'll have to decide what not to take or try squeeze it in someone elses case, thanks for all your advice

Thanks for the info as the Thomsons web site doesnt really explain,on another note being a man what do you pack to be overweight at 25kgs,we went to Barbados in March and only had 18kgs per case and 30kgs of the total was for the wife.

I booked with Thomson to Ocean Blue. I went through the booking process for a non-premier hotel after I found the whole baggage allowance thing confusing and it said exactly the same as my booking. I'll have to wait for the tickets to arrive to check I suppose. I also paid for the extra 5kgs, so I should get 35kgs? Anybody else confirm they got the full 30kg allowance when booking a Premier hotel?
