I was there in April and I can picture myself going out onto the balcony, but I can't remember for the life of me if there was a screen or not!!! I must be having a seniors moment!!!! I am going again August 1st for a week, so if you don't have an answer by then, I'll be more than happy to get a measurement for you!

I ‘m Lea !! And in addition to traveling to this resort twice a year I am a fresh air girl myself. I loathe being cooped up in an air conditioned room all night and would much prefer to sleep on the porch ….

BUT….. I’m sorry the sliding glass doors to the balconies do not have screen doors. As in any part of the Caribbean there are defiantly mosquitoes and while most resorts do a great job in keeping them at bay with spraying, they WILL come in and eat you alive.

I love your idea of a magnetic edged screen. You are very creative. However, I fear it will probably come down the moment you get one of those famous rain storms which usually occur most nights. So I fear you will be stuck just as I am….

BUT, the bright side is that you are about to vacation in one of the best adult all inclusive in PC. You will fall in love with the Princess and all she has to offer. If you should need any more info don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi Laura,

Yes, Lea is the one to talk to about the Princess!! She is the one that sold me on this resort. All the info I read on the forum from her, made my mind up to pick the Princess for our first DR vacation in April.

If you think you still want measurements, I'll be happy to get them for you, just let me know, but Lea is right about the rain!

Thanks so much for all of the info, everyone! Bandana, I'm thinking that if it's not a problem, get the measurements for me while you're there. Lea, since it's not going to cost much to take what I'm thinking of, I think I'll just give it a whirl. Who knows, maybe I'll have some great invention for you to use the next time you're there. :) Or, maybe I'll have to go fetch it, across the resort after a rainstorm. :) I'll let you know.
